The Indian Creek girls tennis team defeated Madonna, 6-1, on Tuesday at
Starvaggi Park.
The Blue Dons’ win came as Sneha Gupta and Maddy Holt defeated Indian
Creek’s Jasmine Burrell and Alicia Ensell, 8-3, in doubles action.
The Redskins’ Chelsie Pesta and Arysan Lackey topped Sarah Howells and Abby
Harcharik by 8-5 scores. Shannon Kendall nipped Lizzy Howells 7-5 in the
tiebreaker for a 9-8 victory and Meika Travis downed Lizzy Schloss, 8-2.
In the other two doubles matches, Pesta and Kendall beat the Howells
sisters, 8-5, and Travis and Lackey stopped Schloss and Harcharik, 8-1 |
